I believe he starts in about three weeks, will not move his family till warm weather. I suppose there will be no preaching here for the present, I do not know what this place is coming to, rum and gambling over everything. How does John prosper? I suppose his term is nearly out. When are you coming to Milo? I want to see you. Have you been to Palmira? If so how did you like the folks? I hear that Joseph is on his way home, and no better poor man I pity him.I suppose you will call this a short letter, but I am getting cold and hungry. I should like to come and see you after my school closes, but think likely the traveling will be too bad. There is a man here taking minutes, I have not seen any of his specimens but understand they are very nice. Perhaps I'll get mine to leave with you when I go West; Mr Haskell has his farm to Mr Buswell. Write soon won't you. Good by.Mehitabel
