User-Contributed Transcription Bangor Nov 13th 1856Brother IsaacYours of the 8th inst was rec this evening. I was very glad to learn of your safe arrival at Elyria. May much happiness attend you and yours wherever you may be. your Goods I shipped last Monday, put them in care of an Agt of the Western RR here, who said they would be in Elyria this week. You ask if I am decided to leave Bangor? Yes. Perhaps I do worry, but there are various reasons, which to me seem sufficient to advise such a course. In my lumbering operation of 53 & 54 I lost more than all I was worth and all that I have earned since and I feel that I can meet that demand sooner by leaving than by staying in Bangor. I have no cap-
