User-Contributed Transcription the two misses Raynes who came in to spend an evening , besides which we have had fiveceremonious calls during the week - rathermore visits and company than is usualwith us. I returned from Milo a littlemore than a week since - went to meeting last sabbath afternoon to hear a most excellentsermon from our good Prof. Shepherdon the text "Lord I believe - help thou mineunbelief." I do feel that I lose so many ofhis good sermons. We learn that HammondStreet people feel quite moved about asmany of their most influential & wealthy members leaving them. Anne wrote yousome of the names I believe. There have beenseveral additions recently by profession,of young persons - fruits of the revival lastspring. The great topic of conversations fora few weeks past in the city has been themarriage of Mr. Harlow. He has been outraucously and shamefully insulted by a serenade with sleigh bells. tin trumpetsand by a public clapping and kissing ata mercantile lecture, - besides which themost absurd and ridiculous stories that
