User-Contributed Transcription by them - he seemed to fear the Cholera & felt inclined to take the shortest route home. I do not much wonder - it really seems hardly safe journeying by railroad and steamboat now. It seems to remain healthy where Charles & Isaac are yet. I do hope it will continue so. Our dear little Percie has been very sick with teething dysentery, the Dr. called it - he was taken the day after Anna went away - he had two double teeth come through within a few days and two more badly swollen, besides his eye teeth. Sabbath day I feared we should have to part with the dear little fellow, but God has spared him to us - we know not for how long. You would hardly know him he has grown so poor and pale. His bowels particularly - there seemed to be hardly anything left but a little wrinkled skin. His appetite has returned considerably, and his bowels seem to be getting regular again. I do like homeopathy for babies at any rate. Poor Isaac is sadly afraid little Mayo
