User-Contributed Transcription Lucy Nov. 28, '55 Bangor Nov. 28, 1855.Our dear Mother You will of course want to hear as speedily as may be, the good news that you have another grandchild. A fine little boy at Eliab's born a 1/2 past seven last night, weighting 6 1/2 pounds, - I was there in the afternoon, came home at five o'clock. Mallie had'nt been very well all day, but felt better when I left, so I was not a little surprised to hear that it was all over this morning. She had a nice time, is very comfortable now (I have been down this P.M.) and the baby seems nice & well - nurses finely and performs all other duties, particularly since he imbibed a small quantity of "pumpkin seed tea" just[left-hand side and top] of your big spells - has really cried for Samuel two or three times. Mayo taught Percie to play while he was here. He ? on a great deal more business than before Mayo came. This morning he said "I want your hands to fix my Tommy, Mother." He says "Here is my train & Mayo is coming behind me with a cord of wood."
