They have been here a fortnight - have gone this morning to Eliab's to make a visit - perhaps to stay the rest of the time. Dr. Mc Ruen thinks he may need to keep him a fortnight longer - Does not like to reperform the operation as it would be difficult & dangerous, so he's trying, by the application of caustics, to destroy the remainder of the gland. It is not painful. The other spots look better than last fall. I am afraid you are feeling very anxious about Isaac and I am sure it is not strange if you do. What an escape! How can
