The babies were both vaccinated Sat. before she went - Percie's did not take - I want very much to know if Corry's did; it will be so much trouble for her to get it done again. The Dr. and Anna have been having their daguerrotype, full length in large open frames, gilt, ten dollars apiece. Anna had Joseph's too, copied in a large frame. We went down with them & got Percie's - 'tis not very good & we are going to try again. He was still as a mouse and the position is very good, and expression good, but the light was not strong enough & the whole picture is very dark. There is great disappointment at Milo because Charles does not come - I do feel afraid to have him stay through all the hot weather, I am afraid his health will suffer
