Furber BangorDec. 5. 1854 Bangor Dec 5th 1854Dear Brother We have been receiving quitea number of letters from you of late for whichwe are much obliged, am full glad that youare so soon coming home, I suppose thatCharles is now en route for down East andwill without doubt be gladly welcomed atMilo and we shall have no doubt be greatlysatisfied at his presence. Charlie is nowat ours house, a clever earnest boy; he muchneeds direction but is easily governed if governedeasy. Percie is growing strong and fat veryfast has more spring and elasticity than everbefore is learning to speak some few wordsCharlie hauls him out of doors daily whenthe weather will permit, which we conceiveto be very beneficial for him.Lucy's health is not so good as we wish itto be.
