Bangor July 2 1855Brownville July 7. 1855 Bangor Jul 4. 1855Dear Sister Nettie I don't know what you will all think of me because you have rec'd no letter for so long a time, but indeed it is not my fault. I wrote a lengthy epistle & delivered it to Eliab many days agone, to be sent in the bundle which I supposed he would forward immediately but according to his usual custom, he has delayed sending it till this present, wherefore I have abstracted me letter there from and will forward it with this, ancient though it be. I hardly know whether to direct to Milo or Brownville, though your letter of the 29 - rec'd last Saturday you spoke of going to Brownville tomorrow; yet plans are very liable to be changed and I consider it more than possible that you may[left-hand side and top] the crazy man is moving into his new house. Lizzie has been down with Percie two or three times to see Mary. Mrs. Martin's baby weighed seven pounds. She is doing nicely. They were some disappointed not to have a son. O, tell Maria that our dear Alice Cary gets totally used up in the last number of Putnam. I think I never saw severer criticism. good bye. Lovingly Lucy.
