We rode down to Mrs. Crosby's yester to see if we could get Nancy Piper when Ellen goes away - could not - they were so astonished & delighted about the twins. Samuel says he shall have to go to Milo by &by -'tis barely possible that I may got too, though not very likely. Will you please write me mother, how to color with copper-as I have forgotten. Ellen can color the yarn so if 'tis not convenient to do it there. Well good night - do write to us often, & I hope you will always have good news to write -don't get too tired Mother - you will & do, I know - take care of her Isaac, with much love, aff - Lucy.
