User-Contributed Transcription Samuel thinks a little that he shall not go into the woods next winter. I have not a great amount of work on hand - nothing hurrying - and if you can send something entirely prepared when Isaac comes. I can help you as well as not. How much I d want to be among you, to put a "finger in the pie." You must send specific directions in relation to all purchases. I should think a dark all wool delaine just the thing you need. I like that material for dresses very much. Dry goods of every kind and exceedingly cheap now. All purchases of that kind had better be made now than a few weeks later. I got some crash a few days since for /4 quite as good as what I gave 10c for last winter. Berages ? - really handsome - silk and wool for 12 1/2 and 16 c - delaine for ten cents etc. etc. Silks are said to be cheaper than ever know before. A good time for me to get one, if I only went out often enough to make it worthwhile. I think some of having my silk made over - simple let out under the arms and a yoke put in to bring it high in the neck, I have invited Eliab again &[left-hand side]I wish I could think of something more to say! I rather like to talk to you all. Has Charles any help besides Shubal Knowles?
