User-Contributed Transcription bought raspberries two or three times. They seemed pretty glad to see us back. It would be a good thing for Lucy to be left in charge of affairs a month. She would learn faster so than any other way. They are two good girls. I could not help worrying about you Mother for fear you would not take care of yourself - you get too much fatigued every day I was at home. So be careful this warm weather. The raspberries came very nicely but we missed the cream! Almeda's sugar I will send with the things if it is procured in season. The parasol is mended cost 2/. I sent the pattern of patch, but there was not enough like it so I will wait till I go down street. I have not done anything to the girls dresses yet - expect Miss Raynes tomorrow to help me. Among the clothes washed last week was a baby's nightgown, small, neatly made, - where could it come form? Nettie, is it yours? It is a great mystery to me. No one knows or can guess anything about it. Samuel has gone to Old Town
