I had the pleasure of seeing Mrs. Wooster Parker last week in Bangor, said she had been wanting to go and see Joseph ever since he has been at Milo.Aug. 14th Samuel brought me your letter this forenoon - good folks - well done. If you have written a large double letter any time since I was at Milo, it was undoubtedly lost somewhere, as I have never seen it. Finished my rug and ironed today. The rug is real pretty. So it is. It was considerable work, but I do not regret the time or labor, 'twice be a piece of workmanship for folks to remember Lute by when she is dead and gone, you know. Well I am glad Eliab is going up - wish I could go too. Jos. your friends - "occupation, operations & prosperity" - M. Crosby not quite through her school of 16 weeks on the Avenue road grows poor upon it too, but is much liked, and laboring to do goo. I see her occasionally at church. H.A. Moore I generally say "how do you do" to sabba' day - she has had a bad cold- starts a week from tomorrow for Hartford. Mrs. Jewett shakes hands hard, when at all. Mr. J. smiles, bows, looks glad to
