It was the thirty fourth Anniversary of the Seminary - four of the first class that graduated from it were there of whom Mr. Jones, was one & Mr. Toppan, Mr. Stephen Thurston & Mr. Chapin the others. Mr. Jones told me he had been in Milo -taught school in Sebec & walked to Milo to drink of the celebrated mineral spring in the west part of Milo. Friday night a Mr. Given from Isaac's place took tea here - he brought a letter from Isaac - nothing special in it except a lock of his baby's hair, which I will enclose om this - he wrote just to introduce Mr. G. to us. Yesterday by stage came Lizzie. I wrote Almeda that she had better come, as the schools begin tomorrow & I feared she might not get in unless here at the commencement of the term. I felt almost wearied out the last of the week, but yesterday and day before, I gave baby to Isabel's charge as much as I could, and feel nicely seated now. I imagine you find use for your thin dresses if you have as warm weather as we have had for a few days past. It
