User-Contributed Transcription weak and does this morning - tips over easily. Was rather restless last night, started in his sleep often, but I laid it to getting so tired. He has been out in the piazza this morning and is playing about as usual. I feel well this morning, what the exception of being sleepy, tired, lame, and back achy! Was it not fortunate that we had the forenoon instead of the afternoon to come home, in? We found a letter here for Nettie - wanted to read it, but thought she might like to do so first. Only Mrs Harlow, Mrs. Martin & Mrs. Blood have been in this morning - all of errands. There are fifteen fully blown peonies under the winder. The balsams were in fine order when they got here. Our visit at Milo does not seem to be very satisfactory to look back upon. Fatigue, anxiety & sickness on our part, and loss of sleep, disturbance
