User-Contributed Transcription Lucy May 13 1855 Bangor May 13 1855Dear LucyI have been naughty not to write to you before, since Isaac & Nettie came, but I know Isaac wrote last week, so I thought you would not care so much. It seems so odd to have them at Eliab's instead of here, but we have seen them about every day so far. What a splendid specimen of health and manliness little Mayo is! I wish I could learn Percie not to be such a clinger to "Mamma". He is never really happy but a few moments at a time, even out doors, unless "Mamma" will "drop floor" with him and keep by his side. To get down anywhere at any time, on the floor in the house, or on the ground, is "drop floor." It seems as if he could not be weaned from me. When out doors with Lizzie[left-hand side] Mary notice next letter
