User-Contributed Transcription "to flee in disorder."  And at last I began to like you.  (You have no idea how different you are from people I know even from those in the Socialist Party)  And I have learned a very great deal.

   I had thought for some years previous that the type of writing you yourself represent had more vitality and more core than any other.  But it seemed to be written by people that were different from any I knew.  You seem to have a better stance to your work, more sense of direction, much more force.
   Anyhow, there it is.  But I want you to understand that I wasn't slumming or just rubbernecking or goofing around.  I knew why I came
   But seriously, doesn't this sympathy business get you down sometime?  I know its the right response, but sometimes I get all confused.  Recently that has happened more and more.
