And I'm going ahead with mixed motives because I went through Hell in the Chicago School System to get what financial security I have. In mental anguish it cost me plenty. Anyhow I know now what makes the educational rottenness tick and it's, believe me, just a small spot of decay when you look at the whole design.

I guess the whole business is something a school teacher shouldn't be in. But I can't help it. Something hit me hard before I ever read underlined: Never Come Morning and I stood so close to the next thing to prostitution and disease that I still get the jim jams thinking about it.
