Wilson stop It must be admitted that the great mass
of moderate and liberal opinion in German is wavering
and loosing faith stop The language one hears upon the
streets today bears a much closer resemblance to the
old nationalistic jargons that one had hoped had disappeared
for ever stop. The one hope for Germany is that in spite of
all the disappointments and a blow of the Versaille peace there
are still those who are unwaveringly true to their
revolutionary idealism stop Competent observer asure me that
their members are steadily growing and their influence obviously
increasing stop But these elements no longer look to Versaille
stop They bind the fate of Germany with the progress of liberal
opinion throughout the world
