Dear Jack,

Thanks for the article on "The anvil" and "The New Anvil," and even more thanks for the Conroy

bibliography. I haven't thoroughly savored the tracts yet. I trust Michel made it all right in and out
of Moberly. We enjoyed having both of you with us and we certainly want to have you back. One of
these days I am also going to pop in on you to go through your workroom for things to "borrow."

David Ray is also much interested in your writing and in following up your contacts with other writers.
Keep that autobiography coming along. I just finished a review for Sharpe on Himes' The Quality of

Hurt. I liked it much. Hope to be seeing you soon, Bob
