Dear Rare & Radiant [?]-
Dr. H will be chagrined
to learn that Blake is being posted to
Dolph. He mentioned to me that he had
need of Blake for a special purpose. To
wit: Yard man, travel boy, martini maker,
typer-upper, musician, stalking horse, [?]
boy, cook, bodyguard & manager. and so forth,
at 6228 Forest. Perhaps the court will give
Dolph & Dr A. 50% each of Blake for their deviousness.
If I were you I would put in a claim
for his services as house boy for at least 1
day per week. He (Blake) demonstrated his
usefullness around the house when he did that
window washing job for you so long ago at
that forgotten loan[?].
I certainly hope that Dr. A
[?] my Florida Odyssey this year. Alas, I am
penniless and should be in Miami no later
than Jan 3., for that Hiaelah job. Nelson did a
good job on the [?] story. My claim to any
of the proceeds is just as frivolous as Shay's, I
fear. Indeed I have no claim at all.
May see you before I go
South for one last flagon of nut brown ale.
Yrs,
B.
