Dear Jack -
I plan to leave here Friday so I'll probably be out to pick up my luggage some-time Saturday.
Whatnow is either in hiding or [[?]] a [[?]] in my friendly overtures. Perhaps you can persuade him that my desire is to emulate T. Williams sitting at his feet and intoning Maestro! Maestro!
Blake sent me a brief note extolling the most unusual wonders of Wisconsin. He told of a feverish encounter with the minotaur in Milwaukee. The minotaur wanted Blake to become a geek but apparently Jimmy has triumphed. He refused, was beaten soundly and is now on the righteous path away from such evil.
My work is much easier for me now. I work in a cement material yard unloading sand, rock + cement. It is a mechanized [[?]] we use vibrations and cranes instead o shovels.
There is a severe shortage of Boiler workers here and else where. You might hint to the Dr. that a movement is underway to drift all persons with Knowledge of such work and freeze them on a job until this emergency is over.
You could feel [[?]] [[?]] that I've given his name, address and qualifications to his old boss Bad Jack Gimyle.
They are working 10 hrs per day + 7 days a week.
Yrs.
