Summary Typed transcript, possibly produced between 1900 and 1937, of extracts from the diary of Rev. Dr. Bader, pastor of the Hebron Moravian Church in Lebanon Pennsylvania, for the period between Oct. 26, 1755 and Dec. 14, 1794. Entries, although brief, and scattered throughout each year, contain details about Indian attacks on the Moravians in Swatara, Shamokin, Bethel, Tulpehocken, and Hanover; and events in Lebanon County during the French and Indian War, including local militia maneuvers, and the arrival on Aug. 27, 1777 of 340 Hessian prisoners to be housed in the Moravian meeting house. Bader makes frequent references to the Orth, Weiser, Kucher, Stoehr, Roesser, Buehler, Korr, Lesher, and Spittler families.
