Description Drawing No. 1. Portrait of Ee-ah-sa-pa, head Sioux war chief of the tribe. He is dressed in a very elaborate robe decorated with battle scenes and a large rosette. He is wearing a large head dress made of war eagle's quills, ermine fur and a pair of horns. He is holding a lance in his hand.
