User-Contributed Transcription case, who is well in consequences of water care treatment she went to an establishment for several weeks: had you not better try that treatment,- Mother I suppose could act the physician pretty well, from her experience in dear Joseph's case: in reading Wayland I have found notes in his handwriting. I have washed your Herbarium in the fluid, and have a large bottle of it left. Botany is not studied much here of which I am glad. Eleven were admitted to the church here a fortnight since at communion: there are meetings every evening:- in the next town there is quite a revival. I received a long letter from Mr. & Mrs. Hopkins their teacher Miss Smith has left them, and they have hard considerable trouble with her- they wrote in rather low spirits: she without doubt had treated them ill.I am writing in the chamber, while Mariette and Martha Hall who were at Mr. Hopkins' the first year I was there sit by the table talking, with all their might, as well as sewing;- putting to flight my ideas: Mrs. Burnsey the mother starts next week for Troy and Vermont, leaving Mariette to keep house. How are Mother's health and spirits? How does Almeda prosper? why does she not write and Lucy too? What does Samuel contemplate if he does not take the mill and why does he not? Is Eliab pretty well? is it probable he will journey any for health and pleasure if so will he not come this way in my vacation? Why did not Isaac have a chance of the railroad there, as he expected? I have made my red calico into a tight morning dress because I thought it not good enough to make a rich double dress.- shall get some time when convenient better calico suitable for the trimming: have washed the waist & made new flowing sleeves to my pretty Delaine. Good bye Ann
