I know your 'philosophy of lifeis stern Dr. and perhaps you are in the main correctionyour views, and perchance think as well of your fellow menas I do I give you credit for much more experience than I though considerably younger and though I have servedsomething of an apprenticeship at that school, I think it isnot best for me to return at present, unless my help is needed,because I ought to earn money, but I think you rathervilify Milo or at least, ' Cedar Grove! (the former place I carelittle for) I think I should be happy (so to speak) there, if Ihad good and sufficient employment and did not feel it dutyto be everywhere, I do want to be there this coming summervery much, I hope the house will be completely finished,I shall claim for my room that north bedroom thatI have occupied when there, after Albina's chamber is finished.[top, upside down] I have hardly read anything since I have been here, no timechat a little with Mr. H once in a while: he is the only one in the family with whom I have much companionship.The children are of hot-bed, growth like many others at the present day.
