Summary
A typescript copy of a brief chronology of the Ogalala Sioux Indians from 1759 to 1912. In this document John No Ears and his unnamed brother record the major annual events in the history of their tribe. Following each entry, a Sioux translation is given in parenthesis.
Biographical/Historical Note
John No Ears, an Ogalala Sioux, was an employee of the Bureau of Indian Affairs and worked as a policeman from 1892-1893 on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.
