User-Contributed Transcription and I spent 3 weeks in June and July with the Sullivans in their new place in Ft Pierce, Florida. They bought an old house 1/2 block from the beach and fixed it up very pretty. They've got a lovely lot with all kinds of tropical stuff growing on it and a "Florida room" (all windows on 3 sides) from which you get a fine view of the Atlantic Ocean. Didn't think the Duke could be so handy at household repairs and beautification. Course Mary had a big hand in all of it. I like to think she told him what to do. They've got miles of fine wide beach in front them, not much developed along there.Betty sends greetings to you and Gladys, as do I. Here's to old Chicago!John BushmanI hear Russell Finch moved to the San Diego area.  Never did find your card again.[in left margin]:  If you give a talk out here at an area school we might be able to arrange, if you are interested, a talk at our school too -- for moderate pay.pencilled in bottom right      [1971?]
