PasqualSan Gabriel, Calif.[Letterhead:] Los Angeles State College of Applied Arts and Sciences 5280 Gravois Avenue Los Angeles 32, CaliforniaDec 22, 1958Dear Jack,I was sorry to learn that you have had further family troubles -- that you lost your son-in-law (I knew that Tommy died) -- but it was good to hear from you just the same. A lot of time has passed, hasn't it?You seem to have a lot of zest still, I'm glad to note. What I need is a long stretch of damn little work, and that's just what is coming up for me. I managed to get appointed Fulbright lecturer in American literature in Buenos Aires for 1959 and have taken a year's leave. Betty and Lynn (the younger daughter) are going too, and we're having lots of fun getting(OVER)
