User-Contributed Transcription Nov. 5, 1972 Dear Jack and Gladys -A last note before the long Nixon Night settles over us. Thanks for your Oct 31 letter w enclosures. I missed the reviews of the NP book, since I almost never look at a newspaper. (Too painful.) Will watch for the Wright and Conroy issues of New Letters, though. Have been meaning to get Peg Weschude and will after your reminder. - The serious part of this message is to tell you that Wiggles is in extremely bad shape, emotionally and physically. His long ago melancholia has come over him again. He is unable to read or to see anyone for more than a few minutes. He is hospitalized, but write him at home in assumed ignorance of his condition. He won't answer, but Mary will read you letter to him and it will be appreciated. He needs contact
