User-Contributed Transcription 2comfortable, and never once have I lacked the essentials.  Even now I get discontented when I want both money in the bank besides luxuries, and we have a saying here "You can't have your bun and eat it too".  How true!    I have been wondering how you got along after the depression, and just how much of your book was fiction and how much was autobiographical.  I read lots of biographies and autobiographies - I suppose I'm just an inquisite person.   Daddy read  your book and he says it brought back lots of memories of the "lean" years.   Many thanks once again, and maybe our paths will cross again sometime.  It was a great pleasure meeting you and your wife, and if you are ever in London again, do drop in for the "olde Englishe" custom of tea-drinking.   Hoping to hear from you again, kindest  regards to you and your wife, from all of us (Mum, Dad, Lynne & Nelson).Yours sincerely,?Gary Blessingfield?
