User-Contributed Transcription Blake 52603-E32-2-moment of it, had I not been torn with the tears I was shedding inside, and frightened by the growing shadow that was creeping across my mind. It took a crash through the barrier into the never-never land of the chain gang and two years convalescence at hard labor to heal the effects of that stupendous binge and restore my mental health (i.e. crying on the outside, laughing on the inside.)It is terrible to be afflicted by the dreadful urge to write everything down, to be forever digging between one's toes in search of an ultimate truth, but I do think that such a morbidly merry crew as we were in those days deserves examining and expounding. (I almost said "exposing" All right, exposing) In terms of those three femmes terribles, Kamion, O'Brien and Gwen, (for it seems to me the males involved were but hapless victims,) I should like to tell the tale. That is, when I relieve myself of the Further Confessions of St. Augustine. Now that I have burdened you with a lot of neurasthenic nonsense, (springing from a tilted metabolism, I wot), to the factual. I should appreciate Conroy's address. If you can possibly visit  me, advise me in advance, so that I can arrange a visitor's pass. Also, if there's any loose loot, it would be vastly appreciated, since I'm in the scratch. Can't elucidate, but it's fairly grim.I am doing a good bit of church work here, playing the organ for both white and colored (black) services. I have discovered that when I add a heavy tremolo to the background organ music during the Invitational, more people come to pray at the altar rail. The Lord moves in mysterious ways and one does what one can.love,JimJames BlakeBox 221, Raiford Fla52603-E32stamped Censored R.W.D.
