User-Contributed Transcription July 25. 54.Dear Lorraine,Just a note to say I received your letters, and was overjoyed to know that you're still around. Sorry about the check hang-up, I've been on the ropes, and will be glad to see the gold. Been chafing to get on with the book, but have lacked a suitable place to work, but that should be expedited now, thanks to your blue-eyed generosity, sister mine.It is Sunday night, we've just come in from the movies - the orch sounded clearer and surer than I've ever heard it, which is a satisfaction, and the grand I play on has been tuned for which, hallelujah. The movie was a mysterious Hollywood perpetration called "The Moonlighter," with Miss Stanwyck, who conceivably must have been out of town when Pompey fell. Thank you millions, sugar. Later.ever,JimJames BlakeBox 221Raiford, Fla52603 3rd F&T
