User-Contributed Transcription Williard?-2-of inmate thespians to begin rehearsals for the annual Christmas theatrical, a spectacle paralyzingly ecclesiastical. The mummers are a drably earnest and motley lot, the vehicle suitably innocuous. I've been sounded for the job of furnishing the organ background again, and have demurred--irreverence is too sacred a thing to dissemble, I feel--but I fear I shall end by concurring.Last year, I found some small diversion in furnishing a leitmotif constructed from vagrant bits of Gershwin's 'Porgy' score--a bracing ammoniacal whiff of breeze in an otherwise airless, moribund affair, it seemed to me. Most poignant, too, it was, I was quite moved. This year, perhaps some of the least detectable bits of Stravinsky would be nice.Let me hear, booted one.ever,JimJames BlakeBox 221.Raiford, Fla.52603-E32stamp on lower right reading Censored R.W.D.
