Broadens the horizons & ennobles the spirit, etc., provided you keep your Christian principles. You did indeed send me a card from London, the which I would have answered except I didn't know where. I hope you made it through London with your virtue unscathed. I have heard that that is the most sinful city in the world & have often aspired to go there myself as a test of the strength of my own purity. Dangerous Dick was ill for awhile, but is unleashed on the world again in his full glory. I understand he did go forth to Yaddo, though I haven't heard irrefutable proof of it. Did he stop & see you? It was good to see all those fine reviews of The Disinherited. I have been recommending it to our revolutionary student body It's in our library - at least, I ordered it. I expect it will get more & more adoptions as time goes on. Your plans for They Seek a City are great. That should catch the great tide now surging - - only, whatta job to update it! Wow!
