It's been getting very good to moderate reviews, with NY Times (a librarian reviewed it) panning it. Stupid review. Published by Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, which is also publishing another one in Feb, 1973. How are you? Did Wallace really say "Don't y'all dare bus me to no hospital."? Jack: Is paperback of Disinherited available? I want to use it for my seminar on Tradition + Change next Fall. (20 copies) Yes, I'm teaching at a Catholic College. It's crazy. The "Christian Brothers" live in the 18th, not the 19th, century. Fascists, stupid + insensitive. But I love teaching. I'm working for an MA at SF State College so I can get a better job in a better college so I don't have to return to hospital work (about which I'm writing my own Disinherited so I can continue writing. Thank you for that lovely American Book Collector. You're a rare, good man. Wish we could talk. Where will you be the 3rd week of August? I'm coming East. Maybe down South?RegardsChester
