User-Contributed Transcription money and I hated to do it, for he needs the money bad as I do, he is a criple and I now intend to work and help him for he can't do much. I thank you again, and just the same even if you didn't give me the money you have done more to get me this place. I didn't come to stay on the reservation and do nothing like so many of the return students do, and I wrote to you for help knowing that you would help me if it is in your power. You are the only one I could think of going to for help. I tried to appear contented while I was home, well I was for awhile but soon got tired of all the fun, I longed to be where I could do something for myself, but I never intended of going back to New Haven. I was not well all the time I was at home, the Doctor said the climate didn't agree with me. Well I must close now for I have some medicines to give.
