4 hardships they have undergone yet I feel unclear and the seeming that all is all and might is good in the conflict and I fully beleive the eternal law of right is working still and slowly but surely is working Gods most righteous will I have read with much pleasure extracts from your Carlisle letters in the dear little Helper how many true words you have spoken I have procured some extra papers for distribution unclear that you are so hopeful and ambitious. I wish your unclear might be infectious and yet doctor I would not have you forget to be merciful to yourself. That was a pleasant unclear you planned for your friends in the Park or one of the parks the little town of Chicago what a nice social time and I must unclear the melons you unclear have been a temptation to me had I been in the vicinity but doctors do not suppose I shall ever have the pleasure of meeting you or any of the Carlisle people yet to you all I am indebted for a great deal of happiness for which I am truly grateful.I have written one of my brief notes to your dear mother which Mrs Basset said she had received so mayhap when she has a little time and is not too weary I shall hear from her.
