Dr Carlos Montezuma,I must commence my letter by thanking you most sincerely for your kind promptitude in replying to my last for since a long time ago. Yet I have not hear from your since, no less for the excellent advice your have so liberally bestowed upon me. We scouts are here at Fort Huachuca are expect to go in San Carlos in a few days from now. last week we three scouts out hunting on the mountain for one day and we kill three deederdeer?. I kill one and the other scouts kill too. and we had a great time in getting back to the post. paper fold obscures part of last line old Carlisle School
