User-Contributed Transcription Company is the dominant industry. About 5 or 6 years ago they imported 500 Puerto Rican workers but did not provide adequate housing, education , etc. This gives the sociology dept at Eastern Conn. State College (where Don's a member) a good many realistic problems to work with and they and the others in the community who are interested have accomplished much in the way of providing adequate facilities and integrating these people into the town - altho there's much still to be done.
I also discovered shortly after our meeting that the "Walter Snow" of the Willimantic Chronicle is the same my father and you know. I never made the connection until after I saw you although I have been seeing his by-line ever since we moved here four years ago. I will definitely
