Summary A collection of approximately 100 miscellaneous specimens of work executed between 1912 and 1923 at the Caxton School for Apprentices at McCorquodale & Company, the City of Leicester School of Arts & Crafts, and the Saint Bride Foundation Institute Printing School. Specimens consist of various items including timetables, tickets, title pages, book excerpts, decorative borders, lithographs, color printing, diplomas, letterheads, calendars, photo-engraving, printing from plates, trade cards, ledger sheets, and church programs. The collection also includes photographs of students, photographs of bookbindings completed by students, and excerpts from books such as Bernard Shaw's "On modern typography" and Neil Munro's "Clyde, river and firth."
