Mr. Sibley wishes the meeting to be at St. Louis in about ten days (where the secretary is as well as for other reasons) Col. Reeves wishes it to be at Jefferson (if it must be at all) & not until about the first decr --The above is as near as I can understand the desires of the two comrs -- I merely in great haste give the facts without their reasons for their wishes -- with much esteemYrsJos.
