Sutton Mews - 400 East 56th St.
New York 22, N.Y.

April 22, 1964

Dear Rose,
Excuse me for not
having written sooner, I was so
upset about Ben's death, I remember
how kind and nice you both
were to me and I have clipped
all the things about him I could
find to send to Teddy.
You can see how much he
was loved and appreciated by
everyone who knew him. I hope
for your sake and Jennie's that
the play he has just finished will
be a great success.
If there is anything I can
do please call me! I am back
to giving French lessons and
believe it or not, baby sitting!!
for some friends of mine. My
number is still the same [[?]]5.5688.
I know you are a woman
of tremendous character so I
know that you will be alright.
My love,
Madeleine.
