User-Contributed Transcription spectacles on. I think you will say he has altered more than Wilder. They are both just as good as babies need be. I had a letter from Lucy last Saturday. We have five letters by that mail and I mailed one to Anna. I have been writing to Lucy today.Did I tell you Mrs. Kimball was dead. She died Feb. 1. For thirty six hours before she died she gave no sign of life except to breathe - could not move a finger. It was a very distressing death. Father has gone into the singing school this eve. There is to be another concert in about a week. I am so glad Banks is elected speaker. Is'nt it good - best! The babies are both fast asleep this evening. I seem to be quite at leisure. O I long to talk to you so much! I seem to know you will be here by next week certainly. Then we will rejoice together. I have been making cake. We expect a Miss Allison from Canada here sometime this week. She is visiting in town. All send love- but most of all from Your own loving Nettie.
