User-Contributed Transcription 7.at a Dispensary. And he said while I am in Toronto I could get that of a Dr. they know at a free Dispensary. Maybe you don't know that every missionary before he goes spends one to six months at their Home in Toronto studying Chinese to see if they can probably learn it, studying their Bibles and learning to know God better and making sure whether he wants them to go. Then the people consult and pray about each one and God always shows them whether to send them out or not. Then I said I was going to, or thinking of staying at home six month or so for cooking, and serving. He said both of those they could teach me in this home. And talked a little about it. Oh I was so delighted about not having to stay here for nursing and everything! Then I said "but I ought to spend some months at home with my people before going". He said yes but that would be better after the time at Toronto.
