User-Contributed Transcription I raised a fine lot of pumpkins in my garden, but they are rotting badly and in order to save some of them I have been cutting and drying, have my North front room well furnished at this time I can assure you. Almost every good locatin in this township is now taken up, on this side of the timber there is but one vacant 80 between Norris and Patten, on the West Side the is not an acre along the timber that is vacant I have not seen Judge Meaker scince he returned. he has however sent me now that he wanted that 40, When I see him if he want it enough to fork over $500. for a deal he can have acre I think it would be well to have this east 40 entered? I think of preempting the 80 West of one covering the Lake and a small strip on the West side of it I expect I can preempt , if so it will give me a year to pay? in. I am beginning to think that this 80 may be thought by some one valuable Should I enter I presume that I can get $50 back by letting the Branson place to the Water.
