What you wrote of him reminds me of my mother's illness two years since. Father was away the first three weeks, while there was most to be done for her, and no one at home but Jenny and me. When she was able to sit up, we had a chair with wheels prepared for her use. But the fractured bones healed very rapidly after they began to mend.
