User-Contributed Transcription benefit him more than any thing else so on his account we feel anxious to get away - But it will be a trial to go leaving mother so feeble - Father is gaining fast now and will doubtless soon regain accustomed health - But I feel very anxious about mother - Now and then a day I feel encouraged and the next disheartened again. The dysentery with her, has become chronic or perhaps changed to diarrhea - As for myself I gain very slowly - I had not much strength to boast of before I was sick, and now my limbs will hardly support me about the house - The least exercise beyond my strength gives me diarrhea - But I think I do gain a little, and hope soon gain faster.
