I have thought it over once, and shall endeavor thus to do , many times, that I may retain as much as possible. I was very happy to receive your letter, dated March 8. Probably, you received one from me, very soon after writing it. Yours did not come to me quite as soon as if I had been at home, but father sent it as soon as he could. I hope you will find employment precisely to your mind. I know you must feel unpleasantly to be in suspense so long. I should like much to see the "Big pile of wood" and the "Wood Chopper" too. I venture to think I should know him. I feel as though I too, ought to be working harder, not that I am not busy now, but do you not think I had better be "school ma'am" one summer more, forgive me for asking, after you have told me you thought it not best, but I did not know but you might think differently. I seems "all for the best" that I did not return to Reeds Ferry, for Mr. Russell had not been in school except the first three days of the term & is now away, journeying, in quest of health. You may prefer to have me return there for the summer term, should Mr. R. resume his place, as it is hoped he will then be able to do. I have funds sufficient, and will so do , if you advise. George came home last Saturday on account of Mr. R's sickness. will go back the summer term. At least, this is his intention Father and mother feel anxious to have
