User-Contributed Transcription hearts in praise and thanksgiving to the bounteous giver of all good. Were you not saved, to be useful; to do great good in the world? So may it be! We were sorry you forgot that name. It was Wingate. I suppose you are almost ready by this time to leave Chicago and start homeward - at least I do hope so. I thought I would direct this to Elyria, taking it for granted that you would leave Chicago soon if you have not already. You speak of being tempted to live at Du Coigne. I do not dislike the idea only I should like to be as near to my father & mother as possible - and I think the climate farther north would suit you better and perhaps me also. It seems a pity not to have your money invested there, and not to have your part of the business saved for as it ought to be. I have been out this P.M. to make some calls. Mayo went with me, and a better boy never was. He enjoyed it
